Helen Davis has been working in the music business since her late teens. She started out in folk and rock with the infamous Kootenay-based psychedelic band "Brain Damage". She was a founding member of the U.S. group Street Hearts, a vocal group based first in Honolulu, Hawaii and later in San Francisco, California.
Helen has worked as a backup singer for Kathi McDonald (formerly of the Ikettes, Big Brother and the Holding Company and Long John Baldry's duet-mate), Doug and the Slugs and Johnny Ferreira's Swing Machine. She's also done studio session work for various recording projects and commercials.
Helen is a mezzo soprano and she and Joani sing both soprano and alto in The Euphorics. Helen lives in British Columbia's Kootenays with her husband and teenaged son. She gardens, skis, is a Masters cycle racer and has boundless energy for organizing Euphorics' projects and anything else she puts her mind to.
