Joani has been wowing audiences as a singer, musician and entertainer for many years, performing on T.V., radio, concert and theatre stages, and in nightclubs.
As one of Vancouver's top studio singers, Joani's powerful voice has been heard on albums by some of the music industry's most popular artists such as Cher, David Bowie, INXS, and Jon Bon Jovi -- to name a few -- as well as on countless commercial jingles. Her live projects range from theatre to a busy schedule fronting some of Vancouver's top rock and R&B bands. She has performed on stage with the likes of Sheena Easton, Del Shannon, and Mellissa Manchester.
Vancouver born and based, Joani is currently playing guitar and singing with two duos (Moodswings with Linda Kidder and ByeLines with Diane Lines), two trios, and her R&B band "Joani Bye and the Homewreckers", The Homewreckers recently released their first CD, entitled "Off the Floor".
Also a songwriter, Joani co-wrote two of the songs on "Standing Up For Love", and performed two co-written songs with Diane Lines on the children's T.V. series "Tell-A-Tale Town".
With concert tours, school shows, club work, sessions, song-writing, and her teenaged daughter, Joani stays very busy as one of the West Coast's most "in-demand" female singers.
